2026 Sport Internship at Durban Girls’ College
Founded in 1877, Durban Girls’ College is a leading independent girls’ school with a proud history and a Christian ethos that offers an innovative, forward-looking and relevant education for girls from Grade 00 to Matric.
Sports Interns are expected to contribute to and actively participate in the Physical Education and Sports Programme, which may at times extend beyond regular school hours. In addition to these responsibilities, the role also encompasses a range of administrative duties.
The following are regarded as given:
- Applicants should be studying towards their B.Ed Degree or PGCE, preferably in their 3rd or 4th year
- Strong leadership qualities with a penchant for working with people;
- Be a keen team player;
- A provisionally registered SACE certificate;
- Assist the Sports department with various duties;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The Board of Governors and Executive Head seeks to appoint suitable candidates effective 1 January 2026 until 31 December 2026.
