Job Overview
The Programme Administrative Assistant will provide reliable administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth coordination of processes, event planning, and implementation activities within the SheTrades Programme.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide administrative and logistical support for programme activities, workshops, and events.

Support programme implementation through coordination with stakeholders, vendors, and partners.

Maintain records, documentation, and reporting for project activities.

Liaise with internal teams and external partners for seamless programme delivery.

Assist in the preparation of project reports, budgets, and communication material.
Qualifications and Experience
-
Education:
-
Completed secondary education required.
-
University degree in Administration, Management, or related field an advantage.
-

Experience:
-
At least 5 years of relevant experience in project administration or technical cooperation project implementation.
-
Experience can be reduced to 3 years with a university degree.
-
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Umoja, etc.) strongly desirable.

Previous work experience in the UN system or with development programmes/projects desirable.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work with figures, research, and reporting.

Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work under pressure.

Languages:

Advanced knowledge of English required.

Advanced knowledge of Spanish desirable.

Additional Information

This position is open to locally residing Kenyan nationals authorized to work in Nairobi.

Applicants from outside Nairobi are responsible for their own relocation expenses.

Contract will be administered by UNOPS.
