About the Fellowship
Applications are now open for the 2025/2026 Africa Extractives Media Fellowship (AEMF). This six-month intensive journalism training programme is designed to strengthen reporting on Africa’s extractive industries.
The fellowship combines:

Eligibility Criteria

Open to early to mid-career journalists based in Ghana.

Reporters working in print, broadcast, digital, or multimedia platforms.

Strong interest in extractives, climate change, energy transition, or sustainable development.

Women journalists are especially encouraged to apply.
