Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Entry-Level Text Editing Clerk to join our administrative team in Isiolo Town. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about accuracy and precision in written communication. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of various internal and external documents, supporting our commitment to clear and professional communication within the financial sector. This role requires strong organizational skills, an eagle eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and proofread a variety of documents, including reports, presentations, internal communications, and marketing materials, for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors.
• Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and brand voice across all written materials.
• Verify the factual accuracy of text where applicable, such as names, dates, figures, and product details.
• Assist in maintaining and updating document templates and style guides.
• Collaborate with various departments to clarify content and obtain necessary information for revisions.
• Perform basic data entry and document management tasks to ensure efficient organization of records.
• Adhere to established editorial guidelines and company policies.
• Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
Required Skills
• Excellent written communication skills in English, with a strong grasp of grammar and syntax.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for errors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic understanding of proofreading marks and editorial standards.
