Harvard LEAD Fellowship for Promoting Women in Global Health 2026–2027
Applications are now open for the Harvard Learn, Engage, Advance, Disrupt (LEAD) Fellowship for Promoting Women in Global Health 2026–2027 cohort. Offered by the Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) in collaboration with the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the fellowship is a transformational one-year leadership development program designed for mid-career women from low- and middle-income countries working in global health.
The LEAD Fellowship provides fellows with an opportunity to strengthen leadership and communication skills, expand professional networks, and receive mentorship from leading Harvard faculty. The program combines virtual learning in the fall with an in-person residency at Harvard University during the spring of 2027. Fellows participate in executive education courses, leadership masterclasses, mentorship sessions, and public speaking engagements.

Support: Travel, housing, visa fees, course costs, and a living stipend are covered.

Eligibility: Applicants must hold a master’s degree or higher, have at least 10 years of professional experience in global health, and be employed full-time in the field. Candidates must also have employer support and the ability to take leave during the in-person phase.
