About the Heinrich Böll Foundation Internship

Responsibilities
Interns will work closely with program teams and contribute to daily operations, research, and communication initiatives. Responsibilities include:
Administrative & Event Support

Maintain contact databases and program documentation.
Research & Writing

Conduct background research on relevant policy areas.

Prepare materials for public events and briefings.

Complete a capstone project, such as a research paper or blog series.
Communications

Update the foundation’s website with new articles and resources.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the 2026 internship, candidates must:

Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, or have graduated within the past year.

Have completed at least two years of university-level coursework.
