International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Hiring: Consultant, Information Management in Nairobi – Apply Before 10 October 2025

IFRC is seeking a qualified Consultant, Information Management to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. The consultant will support data-driven decision-making by developing tools, systems, and processes for effective information management across programs and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Analysis

Support the collection, coding, and analysis of community feedback data.

Integrate socio-behavioural and community feedback data with other relevant datasets.

Develop and maintain data collection tools, templates, and scripts for community feedback and 4W reporting.

Conduct assessments, data collection, and cleaning to maintain country-level information systems.

Standardize and harmonize tools and systems across multiple countries.
Dashboard Development and Data Visualization

Design and manage interactive dashboards to present findings and inform decision-making.

Support integration of data into national RCCE dashboards.

Extract and visualize data to create infographics for reports.
Capacity Building and Technical Support

Provide coaching and capacity strengthening to data specialists and RCCE programme staff.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Knowledge Sharing

Contribute to monthly project updates and impact reports.

Develop case studies and knowledge products showcasing data-driven program outcomes.

Support the preparation of a toolkit for RCCE integration.
Key Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong experience in data management, analysis, and visualization, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.

Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboard platforms.

Experience with coding, database management, and scripting for data processing.

Ability to design and maintain information systems, including community feedback mechanisms.

Strong skills in data cleaning, validation, and integration from multiple sources.

Excellent communication, training, and capacity-building skills.
-
Familiarity with humanitarian coordination mechanisms, especially RCCE (Risk Communication and Community Engagement), is an added advantage.
