MICKLEFIELD SCHOOL is currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative person with the relevant qualifications, experience and academic vision to apply for the

InterSen Phase Teaching Intern (1 year contract)

position for 2026.

We invite suitably qualified persons to apply for the following vacancy from 1 January 2026.

Ideally applicants should:

• have completed their teaching degree by the end of 2025 and be in their first year of teaching in 2026.

In addition, the applicant should:

• Be enthusiastic, motivated, innovative and creative
• Be able to take initiative within the classroom and in extracurricular and other duties
• Be highly proficient in English
• Have excellent computer skills and be keen to develop these skills further
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Be willing to be involved in school and sporting activities
• Be flexible and adaptable according to the requirements of the school
• Assist with Aftercare one afternoon a week
