Applications are now open for the 2025 cohort of the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program at Stanford University.
The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program is a multidisciplinary and multicultural graduate scholarship initiative that develops visionary, courageous, and collaborative leaders ready to tackle complex global challenges. Each scholar receives up to three years of fully funded graduate study at Stanford University, along with access to a transformative leadership development experience.
About the Program
Knight-Hennessy Scholars are enrolled in graduate degree programs across Stanford’s seven schools while also participating in exclusive Knight-Hennessy leadership programming. Through seminars, workshops, and experiential learning, scholars cultivate leadership skills that empower them to make a lasting positive impact in academia, government, industry, and civil society.
Funding and Benefits
Each scholar receives:

Full tuition and associated fees for up to three years (depending on the degree)

A living and academic stipend to cover personal expenses

An annual travel allowance for one trip to and from Stanford
The Knight-Hennessy Community
