World Vision Internships 2025 offer students and recent graduates a meaningful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international humanitarian and development work. Through both virtual and in-person programs, interns contribute directly to World Vision’s global mission of improving the lives of children and communities worldwide.

The program runs in spring and summer cohorts, typically lasting three months. Participants benefit from structured mentorship, professional growth sessions, and the chance to engage with a global humanitarian network.

Background & Internship Overview

World Vision is one of the world’s largest humanitarian, development, and advocacy organizations, operating in nearly 100 countries. Interns work alongside experienced professionals in diverse departments, gaining exposure to real projects and building leadership and technical skills.

The internship program is open to students and recent graduates based in the United States, who are either U.S. citizens/residents or F1-student visa holders. All interns must be at least 18 years old and available for a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Dates and Details

Spring 2026 Cohort

Summer 2026 Cohort

Program Dates: May 26 – August 21, 2026

Location:
All positions are virtual and remote. Interns must reside in one of the following U.S. states:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington.

Duration: 13 weeks (schedule determined with supervisor)
Stipend: Monthly stipend provided to cover related expenses

Note: Interns use personal electronic devices for work. Endpoint security software may be installed to ensure data protection.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be eligible to work in the U.S. (citizen/resident or F1 visa holder)

  • Be a current student or recent graduate (within two years)

  • Commit to at least 24 hours per week

  • Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith
