Applications are now open for the 2026 Yale Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program, a prestigious four-month, fully funded residential fellowship hosted at Yale University’s Jackson School of Global Affairs.
The program, which runs annually from mid-August to mid-December, brings together emerging global leaders from diverse sectors and regions to strengthen their leadership capacity, exchange ideas, and foster cross-cultural collaboration.
About the Program
The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program is Yale University’s signature global leadership development initiative, housed within the International Leadership Center.
World Fellows spend four months in residence at Yale, engaging in learning, mentorship, and collaboration designed to enhance both personal and professional growth. Fellows also contribute to Yale’s academic community through guest lectures, mentoring, and participation in campus events.
Program Components
1. Weekly Seminars

Good Society Seminars: Fellows share their professional journeys and their vision for building a more equitable world.

Salon Sessions: Fellows host distinguished guests for interactive discussions on global issues, expanding perspectives and challenging assumptions.
2. Personal Development

Participants receive individual and group coaching, leadership training, and access to over 2,000 Yale courses for auditing.

Fellows can pursue personal research, work on professional projects, or develop new initiatives.
3. Engagement at Yale

Fellows participate in talks, lectures, and panels, contributing their expertise to Yale students and faculty.

Each Fellow is paired with student liaisons who assist with events and ensure full immersion in campus life.
4. Global Networking

Fellows join a worldwide network of 400+ alumni working in leadership roles across 90+ countries.

The program facilitates lasting professional and personal connections among peers and Yale scholars.
Eligibility Requirements

Professional Experience: 5–25 years of demonstrated leadership and impact at regional, national, or international levels (average age: 39).

Citizenship: Open to non-U.S. citizens (dual citizens are eligible, but preference is given to those whose work is primarily outside the U.S.).

Language: Fluency in English is required.

Availability: Full-time residence at Yale (New Haven, Connecticut) from mid-August to mid-December 2026 is mandatory.
