Declaration of Vacancies – IGRTC Membership
The Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified Kenyan citizens to fill seven (7) vacancies for Members of the Technical Committee.

Reason for Vacancies
Vacancies have arisen following the expiry of the six (6) year non-renewable term of the current members, effective 19th June 2026.

Eligibility Requirements
To be appointed as a Member of the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee, a person must:

| Education | Hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya |
| Career | Have a distinguished career in their respective field |
| Experience | Minimum 10 years post-qualification professional experience |
| Integrity | Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution |
Disqualification Criteria (Section 11(6) of the Act)
A person shall not be eligible for appointment if they:

Are a member of Parliament or a County Assembly
-
Are a member of a governing body of a political party
-
Are an elected or nominated member of a county government
-
Are a member of a Commission established under the Constitution
-
Are an undischarged bankrupt
-
Have been removed from office for contravening the Constitution or any other law
-
Have, in the conduct of their affairs, not met any statutory obligations
