The Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan, recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance, quality, and extent of its work in support of public health and the development of primary health care systems. It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics, Health policy & management, Population & reproductive health, Environmental health & climate change, and non-communicable diseases & mental health.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- provide comprehensive logistical and administrative support to research teams, including coordination with internal departments to acilitate smooth project implementation
- proactively manage the PI’s appointments, ensuring a balanced schedule and resolving potential conflicts
- organize section and academic meetings, including reserve the venue, email, and follow-up
- manage professional correspondence and ensure the PI is prepared with necessary briefings or documents for daily activities
- provide logistical support for departmental seminars, workshops, and grant-related events (venue booking, catering, attendee registration)
- coordinate field transport schedules; monitor vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs to ensure cost-efficiency for field vehicles,
- monitor mileage logs, check transport invoices, and ensure compliance with transport service agreement
- maintain an updated inventory of research related supplies; conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages in the field and project activities

maintain, organize, and safeguard project documentation, records and files, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and accessibility in accordance with the institutional policies.
Requirements
You should have:
- a bachelor’s degree
- at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in a recognized health or research-based institution
- knowledge of administrative procedures, preferably within a health or research-based organization
- competent understanding of administrative processes and the ability to liaise with other offices at the university
- understanding fleet management and inventory control systems is highly desirable strong verbal and written communication skills to interact
- effectively with faculty and staff
