Primary School Teacher
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
- The position is responsible for teaching and while offering holistic development, proper discipline, appropriate skills and social abilities to enable optimum development of pupils.
- The position provides responsibility for exam materials – report books, evaluation records, class register, record book, lesson note books, record of work, schemes of work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Implementation of integrated curriculum.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting student’s progress.
- In charge of school weekly duties.
- In-charge of class co –curricular activities
- Pastoral Care, Discipline, Guidance and Counseling
- A role model, mentor of other teachers and a guardian to pupils.
- Conduct any other duties assigned that is related to the profession.
Academic and Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of P1 Certificate from Kenya National Examination Council.
- Registered with the TSC.
- Must have solid training and experience in teaching Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).
- Proficiency in English & Kiswahili; both written and spoken and technologically savvy.
- Must be willing to work in any of MOHI’s Centers across the country.
