Job Summary
We are seeking a Modelling Data and Implementation Analyst to provide specialist analytical and technical support in the implementation and integration of credit risk models within the RB Modelling Data & Implementation team.
The primary focus of this role is to support the end to end implementation, testing, and embedment of credit risk models by analysing model requirements, preparing and validating data, developing implementation code, and ensuring compliance with internal governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Model Data Analysis & Preparation
Analyse model build documentation and related artefacts to define and understand data requirements.
Conduct data quality assessments and testing to ensure data fitness for modelling purposes.
Apply appropriate data preparation techniques aligned to model implementation standards.
Model Implementation & Testing
Develop and test model implementation code using SAS (Base, SQL, Macros), Python, and/or SQL.
Create, maintain, and manage implementation documentation, including sign‑off and post‑implementation review packs.
Provide technical support to stakeholders during model rollout and resolve model execution and logic queries.
Facilitate effective model embedment into operational and business environments.
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
Maintain and update regulatory reporting processes related to implemented models.
Support regulatory impact assessments and respond to audit or regulatory queries.
Ensure strict compliance with Model Risk Policy, RDARR standards, data privacy requirements, and relevant governance frameworks.
Proactively identify and address compliance gaps or risks.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with model owners, developers, validators, users, regulatory stakeholders, and technology teams.
Communicate progress, risks, and issues through clear reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Participate in cross‑functional discussions to ensure smooth implementation and integration.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to automation and standardisation initiatives across model implementation processes.
Propose enhancements to data pipelines, testing routines, documentation, and controls.
Support knowledge sharing and training of end users on model usage and interpretation.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in model development, data analysis, or model implementation within banking or financial services.
Hands‑on experience with Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL.
Exposure to regulatory capital and/or IFRS 9 impairment models is advantageous.
Experience supporting regulatory reporting and working with multiple stakeholders preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability with high attention to detail
Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and/or Python for data manipulation and automation
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
Strong planning, prioritisation, and delivery skills in deadline‑driven environments
Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning
Exposure to Power BI or SAS Visual Analytics is advantageous
Governance & Risk
